There is a myth/misnomer posited by some eg "Biggles" aka WW that what he likens as couch( TV,Radio etc) fans contribute nothing directly to the cf
Coffers of the Club. Maybe so?Indirectly they do.
If all tele fans ceased watching the game advertising revenue amongst other things would decline Skyy would cease showing matches leading to them pulling the plug on RLfinancing and the game Left with only direct income the game would fold completely. Simplistic I know but in principal possible.
So let's have less of this discrimination attempt from those who advert to it Its counter productive and deters people from using this forum

After untangling your scrabble challenge it's a fact that if you watch matches from your couch you are nothing more than a fan, not a supporter.SJ wrote:There is a myth/misnomer posited by some eg "Biggles" aka WW that what he likens as couch( TV,Radio etc) fans contribute nothing directly to the cf

Could be that Manchester United will benefit more from Wigan fans than Wigan Warriors? Perhaps Wigan Athletic may benefit more?fozzieskem wrote:I suspect there will be less money next time round from sky as they get their numbers from the new SS channels
The answer is simple, get down there or pay for Wigan TV and listen on WISH fm, certainly better than listen to Wiggy and his mates ballooning on.
