Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.

I thought I’d heard that too, but he’s not going to Canberra at least!

I for one hope SW gives Micky Mac more scope/freedom to play a bit. For Ireland MM was creative, putting in short kicks near the line, had forwards on his shoulder and put them through the opposition line with some neat passes etc.

Mark Aston for our next coach?

Quote from t'other forum, 'A Catalans fan on Total RL says their chairman is telling everyone that they’ve wrapped up deals for David Mead and Micky McIlorum.'

Quote from t'other forum, 'A Catalans fan on Total RL says their chairman is telling everyone that they’ve wrapped up deals for David Mead and Micky McIlorum.'[/quote]

And there's a topic on Redvee which starts out as a 'Walmesley is the greatest' has now degenerated into a 'Hate that cheap shot Macillorum' discussion.
Suspect the posters were hoping MM would be off to Canberra so that their Kevin Penny reincarnation Regan Grace doesn't get what Micky Mac has lined up for him.
Nobody puts MM on his arse without a bit of pain later.

Me too, he was back to something like his best in the World Cup. Short and Medium range kicking was very good, distribution and when to pass/when to scoot was good.

It was always going to be tough to get back to any sort of form for him after the year he had out.to me though he's closer in age to leaving than staying so if the Aus trip had come along for him I'd have wished him well, it looks though he staying and thats fine too, but this as happened last season of just playing him because of who he is has to stop, play on form not name should always be the way to pick a team.
