Thread to discuss watching The Superleague Show
Any interest in this?
I'll start with the big question this week: is that a stud in Cuthbertson's nose, or a spot?

“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

I am always glad to watch the SLS or anything else Rugby League that the beeb puts out.
A few years ago when the BBC was faced with massive cuts Sport was going to take one of the biggest hits. The only sport on the beeb radio on Sundays would have been the 4pm Premier League soccer game.
There wouldn't have been any Rugby League at all on the BBC radio.
Ray French was invited to addressed MP's in the HoC and made a passionate appeal to all MPs in RL areas to lobby the Govt about the cuts and the effect they would have on all non soccer sports in the UK. They won and that is why we still have the SLS and BBC radio commentaries.
Often we don't appreciate things until they have gone. Thank goodness BBC Rugby League coverage hasn't gone and we can still enjoy it.
