I think it's more about talent development and giving us a head start on picking up the best kids from the area, whilst giving West Wales the chance to scoop up the rest. There's talent down there but West Wales don't have the experience, money or brand to encourage the best of them to stick with league. We do.

That is spot on. Wigan representatives were down there recently and quite a few Welsh boys were invited up for coaching/training sessions in the school holidays. This move is really an extension of those first steps.

Didn’t we do a tie up with a South Wales club a few years ago. Can’t remember their name or how it went.
