Miloudi escapes ban after bite claim

Post by josie andrews »

Friday night’s televised Super League clash between Hull FC and Warrington was a topsy turvy affair. Leading 12-0 going into half time, the biggest flash point came moments before the hooter when Wire captain Chris Hill seemed to force his forearm into the face of Airlie Birds winger Hakim Miloudi.

Video evidence showed little to back up Hill’s claim but referee Gareth Hewer placed the incident on report and the disciplinary panel has ruled that Miloudi has no case to answer. The French back is a rarity in rugby league in that he doesn’t wear a gum shield – something which may have led to teeth marks on the Warrington captain’s arm despite the former Doncaster player not actually biting him.

The incident, however, seemed to spur a lacklustre Wolves team into life and scored thirty unanswered points in the second half to win 30-12, strengthening their hold on third place in the Super League table.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Im suprised hill got away with shoving his arm aggressivly in an opponents face.

The replay clearly showed he was at fault for the whole incident.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Me too. If you don't want to be bitten, don't shove your arm in someone's face!
