I haven't seen him playing recently but he is a good prospect.

Didn't he sign an extended contract at the start of the season?

Get him on a plane now and get rid of Joel.

Thought Bateman was staying now? Hopefully he’s Joel’s replacement

My thoughts too. I would be happy with that.

More likely to be Bateman's replacement.
Longer term he will have been seen as Bateman's replacement I agree, but given what's gone on, if we can get him in now then that solves another problem too.

He's not been given a fair chance by the new coach at Gold Coast for whatever reason. He went well for them last year I thought, but they did recruit in the back row ahead of the season. He's a quality player. Runs really good lines. It's a good signing if we get it over the line.

Given his size and durability, he may well be as good a player over the next 10 years as Bateman. He is closer in style to Currie. A class act, who stepped straight into the NRL from day 1.

I hope this comes off he seems a durable sort of lad and one I must admit seemed well suited to the NRL,hopefully their would be Wigan’s gain.

How good is he,given the fact that he can't get in the team, and been loaned out to feeder club ?
