Re: Should Joel be Sacked?
We’ve had players do plenty bad things over the years, they’ve been reprimanded in one way or another, we are even employing one for next season.
Everyone deserves a second chance IMO
I’m as shocked, embarrassed & ashamed of this behaviour but I think we need to draw a line under it now.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Thank you Josie. Sums up my feelings exactly. We'll probably never be able to look at him in the same light as before the 'incident' but he deserves the chance to redeem himself.josie andrews wrote:We’ve had players do plenty bad things over the years, they’ve been reprimanded in one way or another, we are even employing one for next season.

If we sack him and bring greenwood straight over i dont think there will be any complaints..... we just need to get the ball rolling, one way or another

Yes. We need to make a stand. We are Wigan.
We won't though, and I will forget as soon as he runs out again for us.
