Re: Likely Downtime and Upgrade Problems
Yes, if I use google, chrome or safari ???? it’s bloody annoying but if I use a different browser with privacy, it doesn’t happen! Only thing is, I can only open one webpage at a time ????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The first part of modifying the system has been completed today. The site is now only accessible through https:// not http://. This should mean your browsers no longer report security issues when accessing the site.
Let me know if anyone experiences access problems.

This is what I see at the top of the page on my iPad through Google Chrome if I just search for Wiganwarriorsfans.com -Mike wrote:The first part of modifying the system has been completed today. Re: Likely Downtime and Upgrade Problems
If I type in https://wiganwarriorsfans.com I get
wigan/?s=Viewtopic.2&o=1091151 ????
On Safari if I just type in wiganwarriorsfans.com I get
http://42m.wiganwarriorsfans.com/wigan/ ... &o=1091151
So it looks like I would have to type in https:// each time I use the site through those two search engines. I don’t know what it’s like through Windows but this is always the case on my iPad!

Re: Likely Downtime and Upgrade Problems
I've been meaning to fix the dodgy server names for ages. I'll see if there is a quick fix for that.
Re: Likely Downtime and Upgrade Problems
Should be fixed now. All http URLs should redirect to https://www.wiganwarriorsfans.com

Re: Likely Downtime and Upgrade Problems
Hi all
Here is a preview of the new system I'm going to adopt for the message board.
newsite
It should give us a more up to date system with far better security. It is also available on mobile on Tapatalk https://www.tapatalk.com/ by searching for WiganWarriorsFans.com.
You should all be able to login using the same username and passwords you have on the main site.
Let me know any feedback you have here or on the new site.
