Post by josie andrews »

There will be no Hull derby, with the Black and Whites set to play Huddersfield and the Robins facing Salford, while London’s return to the event will see them take on Leeds.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

What's changed? It is much simpler and fairer to allow 1v2, 3v4 etc. from the previous season's league table or, if the RFL want to try and make a profit, which I believe that the Magic weekend doesn't, then choose matches to generate the biggest interest.

On another matter, why is this being staged at Anfield? I thought the concept of Magic was to spread the gospel?

I just don't get it, what are the RFL trying to achieve by taking it to Merseyside?

At the risk of stating the obvious, it's closer than Newcastle for most fans in the heartlands?
