Always thought North rather overrated. I would put Jack Nowell as certainly England's best winger. A better and smarter footballer than May.

Well in fairness the thread does say who would "you" take.

There is probably about 10x the raw talent in RU in this country than in RL. It is testament to the quality of coaching in RL that this doesn't manifest itself at the top level even more.

Let's see. Taking the current England RU team only.

Jonny May (probably the best winger in English rugby. Any code). Courtney Lawes would be an outstanding 2nd row. Elliot Daly, Manu Tuilagi, Owen Farrell (best kicker since Botica?), George Ford, Billy Vunipola would walk into any SL team. I could go on.

I mean, I am an RL fan but some on here need to give their specs a polish!!

Of course there is no way any of the above would switch (unless at the end of their careers).

Take Faz. He's a multimillionaire. Compare this to what he could have earned in RL (even in the NRL).

Sorry, but never heard of most of them. I keep trying to watch Union but never manage more than 5 minutes. The best bit of the Wales-England match for me was the singing of Land of my Fathers.

I'm glad Wales won though I have no Welsh blood as far as I'm aware, just not too keen on the posh boys from Twickers.
