MoM v Huddersfield

Post by ancientnloyal »

No poll as I didn’t watch the game being away for the weekend but kept up to date online and radio.

Mention player names in the thread. I know we were shocking but still points to play for during the whole season

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham

1. Escare... how Lam can see the player he has i don't know
2. Tautai.. only for his second half preformance, he was harshly sin binned but until that he had stepped up made good carries and put some big hits on Hudds.
3. Bullock .. he is standing out in a very poorly coached team at the moment

can we give minus points if so
- points to hardaker who was appauling lazy in defense watching the ball roll to a stop so many time or not trying to collect even when he was the nearest player. reminds me of his last season in leeds when he didn't want to be in a losing side when it got tough.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

1. Hardaker - solid at the back, saved a couple of certain try's, a lovely break.

2. Escare - his speed is scary and certainly caused Hudds problems. Shame he didn't get a chance in the halfs due to the winger injuries.

3. Tautai - despite the seemingly harsh 10 mins, he hit hard and ran hard.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Hicks. Although he was not to blame for our inept performance.

Escaré, no one else worth naming.

Can't sleep feel depressed reliving the game...positives where few but thought Tautai stood up and was a thorn in the Huddersfields side when on the pitch although not as much of a pain as the Huddersfield cowbell hitter. Bring on wire🙄

Hamlin - Don't think he put a foot wrong, worked incredibly hard down the middle and out wide.
Escare - When he came on the field he was the only player who looked remotely dangerous.
Gildart - Didn't get much of an attacking opportunity but his work rate and carries were outstanding and got us out of trouble quite a few times when mired in our own half.
