Watching the saints vs warrington game...
Next week could be painful.

Listening to the game and one thing that is bugging me (other than the preformance) is the amount they are going on about Wakefields Smart time wasting. Wasting a minute before kicking the penalty to touch etc.

Think we need to bring in the shot clock for everything that people can time waste with 😂

Would 0-74 against Saints be an improvement?

I'd like a journo to ask Lam at the pressy who we will have back next week.
Going with 8-13 missing is hopeless.

I cant see tonights match helping attendance next week. I van only hope for the clubs sake alot of neutrals and saints fans turn up.

Lam needs to strip back to basics like warrington did in prices first year, we dont have the bodies for his tactics so defence should be the priority and rely on our left edge attack. Not great but 3 tries im 3 sets is extremely poor defence.

A fair assessment is that we lost the game in 4 mins up to half time. I'm very disappointed with the result and the performance, but . . .
we scored 4 tries and conceded 5 against a good team (possibly underrated as they're not one of the "big" clubs).

Looking for encouraging signs, Escaré looked ok, George made plenty telling tackles as well as looking dangerous with ball in hand. The young forwards have gained valuable experience - though I couldn't see who missed most of the tackles. Jake Shorrocks is growing into his role.

None of this is to deny that we were poor, but trying to add some perspective.
