Got to be Danny Tickle for his sheer work ethic. Who the hell put Aspinwall up there, who wouldn't even be Chorley's best player.

Aye, but if you look at the date of the poll (at the top of the page) you'll notice it was from last March, when Aspy wasn't quite being crucified by one and all. It'll be interesting to see if he's able to kickstart his career, he had a lot of potential but just got stuck in a rut at Wigan. Seems to happen quite a lot with our younger players - Lee Gilmour and PJ both seemed to benefit from moves elsewhere after going nowhere much at Wigan. Wild and Simon Haughton also suffered the same problem, although Haughton's now completely disappeared. Anyone know if he's still trying to play union?

I still feel that Paul Johnson and Gilmour had a lot of potential. I saw non in Aspinwall. Not big enough, not fast enough, not clever enough, not skillfull enough. Doesn't score tries, doesn't even provide tries for his winger. Defence was okay when he had no real threat.
I saw Simon Haughton not too long ago, last i know he had returned back to league, not sure who with though. It still upsets me know when i think of the attributes and potential he had at the start of his career. What happend?
