Other teams signing players!
Other teams signing players!
Just seen Cas have signed a wing/centre...why aren’t we doing the same...and it surely can’t be the salary cap excuse?

Re: Other teams signing players!
Cas have dispensation for Luke Gale who was injured in pre-season and has not played in a salary capped match this season.
Re: Other teams signing players!
Cas have abused their dispensation for an injured halfback

That’s true!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

No dispensation for injuries to players sustained during the season. (Unless you are castleford, its luke gale, and you already have plenty of backup for the half back position in your squad).
Re: Other teams signing players!
I fully understand it is within the rules but to request dispensation to replace your injured half back and then to spend it elsewhere is poor.shaunedwardsfanclub wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 8:01 pmWhat do the rules state?

Re: Other teams signing players!
They have played to the rules, what is the issue?
Would it be an issue if they moved a current Wing/Centre to Halfback and signed a Wing/Centre with the dispensation cap money to cover?

Yes agreed Fozzie, after all players are switched to and fro all the time, especially in these days of "utility" value.
