Referee for Sunday - Challenge Cup
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Wow - what a change in officiating from the London match!
Tragically, I will not be able to wallow in the wondrous BBC coverage - gosh, that Robbie Paul's brilliant, isn't he? - and I will miss Child's awful reffing and Hicks moving heaven and earth to disallow any Wigan scores and making sure that Wire scores count despite any knock-ons/foul play/offside etc.
I know we might lose but we didn't need the RFL making doubly sure.

How on earth is an Uncle Joes the reserve touch judge?

Don't be so pessimistic SS and sarcastic to the extent of blending the present tense with future tense to underline your pessimism. We just might win this game(fingers crossed. cheers!Southern Softy wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 4:54 pm Wow - what a change in officiating from the London match!

Grateful thanks to the grammar police.
I fear the worst but will be actively hoping for the best at Warrington. If we can beat them, there's a real chance of another trip to Wembley. Only one other team (can't recall the name) would be as difficult to play. I hope the 87 year old Ben Westwood (thanks to Joe Mills Wish FM for that description) will be on his best behaviour.
