Edwards in the news again for all the wrong reasons!

Got anything else on your mind that isn't about the Warriors? If you do, this is the place to post.

Next week: "Edwards attends press conference confirming him as Wasps head coach from 2020".

June: "Edwards interviewed and says he's not sure what he's doing after Wales job. Never heard from Wasps."

July: "Toulon announce Edwards as defence coach from 2021."

And so on until....

May 2063: "97 year old Shaun Edwards, who apparently once was assistant coach of Wales in the former sport of Rugby Union, holds yet another press conference to say he's open to offers to coach Wigan St Cuthberts girls under 8s. A spokesman for St Cuthberts said 'Who?' "

Edwards seems to have well and truly lost the plot.

I can almost, almost understand his cold feet about coaching Wigan in RL after being in RU so long but I still think there is something else behind the fact he ended up walking away (which still doesn't excuse giving a blow by blow account to the press).

However once relieved of his commitment to Wigan I would have expected his future to be sorted without further controversy. Obviously not.

France I think as him & his missus spend a bit of time there I’ve been told!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

So much for “don’t want to relocate the family”. I suppose Paris is a bit nicer than Worsley Mesnes

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall

There are parts that are not!

Though in fairness I doubt whether he would live in those :)
