I hope Lam doesnt get the job as her cant get these players up to standard and the new signings are of no improvement
You know what pedro
I can see Sarginson and Williams plus a number of juniors leaving and we recruit Bibby/Clark/Atkin and and Aussie forward from one of the crappier teams and that will be it. At cap limit and money spent on extended or new deals. No "wow" signings and no marquee
I think we are going to be mighty disappointed
I'm a better fan than you
Because I don't "Boo"!!!
Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are

A fair assessment that would he consistent with the last 3-5 years. The outlier being the signing of FPN.

Folau would of been a good shout. Thrown out of union, Nrl won’t have anything to do with him.
Bit of a prat granted but with his options limited the club could of got him cheaper than you usually would
Only trouble with that wish is his contract with the ARU was over 2A$ a year and even dividing that by 1.6 leaves a big number.

One things for sure a lot of people won't be renewing season tickets.
And I don't think there will be any new season holders, not unless some real quality is bought and a proven coach is signed or very promising assistant

Exactly.
Decreasing standard of the league
Decreasing standard of Wigan
Decreasing standard of players
Decreasing take up in schools
Decreasing take up at amateur level

If there is one player in the world whose signing would have us cancelling our season tickets it is Folau. He is the embodiment of human hatred.
By us you mean you. I would pay to watch him play.
Falou is a Cntu for his anti gay comments what an idiot in that respect. However, I despise anyone taking drugs yet I support Zak and admired Gaz Hock as being World Class.
I’d support Falou as long as he tows the line whilst playing for us... if step over the mark then the punishment given would be apt.
He will not however play for us. I don’t think the club-owned player houses adjacent to Canal Street would be good for him

Are we discarding Kibula and Paisley? I've not seen that anywhere. Personally I quite like them both. I don't understand why so many fans dislike Kibula, the lads only 19 with plenty of time to develop and is a unit.

Presumably A$ 2 million? About £1.25 million.
BUT... he's burnt his boats with the ARU, and likely all 6 nations countries' unions
So what's the harm in us offering him £200,000 a year as a marquee player?
He'd be sensational, a bums-on-seats player who'd repay that with interest.

Mental isn’t it. How many prop forwards have been first team regulars and under 20 in the league the last few years ?
