But why was he still in the UK instead of having been deported back to Oz after being out of work after leaving Wire?

Il n'y a rien de mal a ça mais il est difficile de penser à autre chose.
Now Europe is just for holidays.

How do coaches get passed their best? Not disagreeing but interested to hear if you have any thoughts on the subject.fozzieskem wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 9:25 pm Good coach but past his best for me,same with Sheens to be honest
Is it motivation, is it a lack of changing styles/tactics, is it a slow down of the brain!

Probably has citizenship after all the years spent as coaches.ian.birchall wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 8:15 am But why was he still in the UK instead of having been deported back to Oz after being out of work after leaving Wire?
Even if not, who cares?

He took British citizenship when he was still coaching at Leeds I think it was.ian.birchall wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 8:15 am But why was he still in the UK instead of having been deported back to Oz after being out of work after leaving Wire?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

A good question I think it’s as you say a combination of things plus the game itself just moves on and opens it’s self to new ideas.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 8:39 amHow do coaches get passed their best? What surprised about Smith was how young he is as he seems to have been around for ages, certainly at Wire he was just there far too long,we see of course how it pans out for him
