From being young (I'm 30 now) watching Wigan was usually a Friday night thing. Their is nothing better than being at the game on a Friday night under the lights to start your weekend off

Friday or odd Saturday with 6pm K.O.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Friday nights ok for me as I am retired now . Saturday 5pm or 6pm better for the rest of our lot as they can make the games without taking time off work.

What’s the point in summer rugby and then playing the games at night.
Watch the game Sunday afternoon in the sunshine, then a couple of pint in the ball n boot, rounds the weekend off perfectly.
