Reports in League Weekly claim Luke Gale will undergo a medical at Leeds on Monday.
Speculation linking the Cas half-back with a move to the Rhinos has endured for several weeks.
And League Weekly’s Dave Parker claims Gale will cross to Headingley tomorrow for physical assessment.
Parker writes: “The departure of Luke Gale from Castleford Tigers to Leeds Rhinos depends on a medical for the England international scrum-half in Leeds on Monday.
“The deal is done and it’s now up to the medics as Gale comes back from a season out after rupturing his Achilles tendon in pre-season.”
Meanwhile, Leeds half Richie Myler is being linked with a switch to Hull KR, while Danny Richardson could be headed to Cas.

Reports – Gale set for medical at Leeds
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Madness. Gale is picking up more and more injuries, some serious. He is north of 30. Leeds must be desperate.

You are quite right, he is picking up lots of injuries, mind you as Myler is the best option at 7 they are desperate.shaunedwardsfanclub wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 1:29 pm Madness. Gale is picking up more and more injuries, some serious. He is north of 30. Leeds must be desperate.

Yes he does get a lot of injuries but we have players in the same boat.So would it have been worth a punt to solve our very poor tackticle kicking game it's all hypothetical now that he's gone to dirty Leeds

Not in my view. One of the problems we have got is that we have too many players aged 30+
