Some old Wigan RL sponsor adverts...
Came across an old NEXT bag from the 90s which I forgot about. I must have commandeered it when I moved out from the parents. Full of old Wigan and GB Final programmes! Thought I’d share a few old adverts. They really did us proud back then like Puma, Coca Cola, Heinz... I posted on my twitter but with no followers apart from my local MP and Josie

Love them. When Rugby League was at the top of the sports

Super League has ruined everything for RL :evil, Everything ticked along nicely, CC, regular season and internationals where all in sync, Wigan where massively known outside the game, Big companies where interested, It all went tits up with the appearance of Super Duper League.
