Although I tend to agree with the last post it's worrying that young Amir is not thought good enough yet to be back up hooker. If he isn't ready yet that's fine but we should have a ready made replacement at 9. I know Tommy is good cover for 9 but, if he's playing 7 he can't do both at once. Hopefully Harry Smith can continue to impress then he can come on for Tommy (at 7) after 30 mins, finish the game and leave Tommy to replace Sam Powell for the last 20 mins. Next season we really need a 9 that's quick off the mark. When we're struggling to make ground via our props we're not able to take the 'easy yards' from the play the ball because Tommy and Sam just don't have the pace.

Have heard a very weak rumour that we're interested in BMM - not sure when for but I'd be happy with that if it ever came off.
