Wigan Warriors Dream Team 2010 - 2019

Post by CheshireWarrior »

Now we are in 2020 and the new season is soon to start, I thought id look back over the previous decade and try to pick the most successful combined team (easier said than done  ).

1. Sam Tomkins (2008 - 2013, 2016 - 2018)
2. Josh Charnley (2010 - 2016)
3. Darrell Goulding (2005 - 2014)
4. Oliver Gildart (2015 - Present)
5. Pat Richards (2006 - 2013)
6. Blake Green (2013 - 2014)
7. Tommy Leuluai (2007 - 2012, 2017 - Present)
8. Paul Prescott (2004 - 2013)
9. Micky McIlorum (2007 - 2017)
10. Andy Coley (2008 - 2011)
11. Ryan Hoffman (2011)
12. John Bateman (2014 - 2018)
13. Sean O'Loughlin (2002 - Present)

Notable mentions to Harrison Hansen, George Carmont, Brett Finch, Liam Farrell, Ben Flower and Matty Bowen. Could probably name many more......who makes your team?

I’d have Carmont ahead of Goulding and gilly. Think Martin Gleason would of been ahead of them as well if he wasn’t head shot and stayed abit longer

Fielden, Deacon and Hock would be in my team. On their day they were all unplayable.

Personally I thought fielden had his best years at Bradford. Think mason knocked his confidence out of him

Was a tough call leaving Carmont out, I agree regarding Stuart Fielden, never quite the same afterwards! Apparently he looked in good shape on Sunday against Leeds

Have to agree about the team years youve listed. I think the 2011 squad was full of stars (either established or in the making).

Me too, W/boys team would beat Australia !! (and maybe even Tonga !), full of pace, skill, power and experience. Plus entertainment value, would pay good money to watch that team, home and away.
