WIRE CAPTURE LATU FROM TITANS
Warrington Wolves confirm the signing of prop forward Leilani Latu on a two-year deal until November 2021.
Latu, 26, stands at six foot two, and packs a punch up front at 112kg. He made his professional debut in 2015 for Penrith Panthers before moving to the Gold Coast Titans in 2018. He has made 58 NRL appearances to date, and has represented Tonga on the international stage as well as playing for the Indigenous All Stars and NSW City.
The skilful powerhouse was in high demand across the Betfred Super League having been made available by the Titans, Warrington beating off the competition to make the signing.
Warrington head coach Steve Price said: “We are always looking for quality rugby players to bring to our club and we feel Leilani fits that. I’m looking forward to working with him and developing his game during his time at Warrington as we feel there is a lot more he can bring to the game.”
Latu added on signing for the Wire: “I’m looking forward to getting into training with the boys and creating some combinations with them. It’s an exciting brand of footy here and I couldn’t turn down the opportunity. I chose Warrington because of the quality of players and I have played with a couple of them back in the NRL too; Ben Murdoch-Masila and Sitaleki Akauola at Penrith and we had some success there.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: WIRE CAPTURE LATU FROM TITANS
I'm very curious to how they remain in the Cap.
Im not saying they are breaking it but
Hill
Charnley
Austin
Widdop
murdoch masla
Clark
Lineham
Cooper
Curry
Mamo
None of them can be cheap.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

I’ve always said don’t how they stay under the cap as they seem to get players when they want. But in all honesty not sure if Mamo, murdoch, lineham maybe even hill will be all massive money

According to the other site Latu was being paid well in excess of £200k to play in the reserves at the Titans, he will not come cheap.

Gold star from me Caboosegg……..its unreal! Are you telling me that nobody at the RFL is thinking 'lets have a snoop at Wire's books'
Another reason why i NEVER want Wire to win SL, simply because they are trying to buy it!
I think they have violated the cap more than once since 2010 but, the only aspect I slightly admire is they have a board/directors who clearly aren't afraid to open their chequebooks.

Open their cheque books?
Warrington fans are totally underwhelmed by Latu's signing.
Hopefully and at last they've found the real replacement for Roy Asotasi.
