Post by josie andrews »

Jake Bibby looks ahead to making a possible competitive debut for Wigan Warriors on Thursday in the Betfred Super League opener.

Cherry and Whites host Warrington Wolves in Round 1 at the DW Stadium and life-long Wigan fan Bibby says he is ready for the challenge after joining the Club in the off-season.

Bibby: “This is about trying to impress the fans and the coaches.”

Former South Stand Season Ticket holder Jake Bibby says he is eager to show the Wigan Warriors fans what he can do as his new side face Warrington Wolves in the Betfred Super League opener at the DW Stadium on Thursday.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I like the look of Jake, this could be an inspired signing.

A good friend of mine is a Salford supporter and told me when we signed Bibby that he was a decent lad.
Never going to set the world alight, but steady and solid week in week out, is what he said.
