Leeds Rhinos forward Joe Greenwood has spoken for the first time about the nervous wait he had to find out if he had suffered from coronavirus before being given the all clear following a negative test result.
The giant forward, who is on loan with Leeds from Wigan, was the player who was put in self isolation last week that was a contributing factor to the Rhinos decision not to travel to Spain and France to play Catalans Dragons in the final game before the season was suspended earlier this week.
He has spoken from his home now about the experience and how the time at home has given him a new perspective on life as a professional Rugby League player.

GREENWOOD DELIGHTED TO BE GIVEN ALL CLEAR
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
