Club staff working off-site

Post by josie andrews »

Where possible, the majority of Wigan Warriors administrative staff are now working away from the Club’s base at Robin Park Arena in response to Government advice regarding the Covid-19 outbreak.

Though a small number of staff will remain at the Arena in order to continue essential tasks as required, should you wish to contact an individual member of staff regarding ongoing communications, the advice in the first instance will be to use their work email address or mobile number, as most Club employees will be working from home until further notice.

All but essential meetings at Robin Park will now not be going ahead, with staff looking to hold phone meetings or video conferencing to replace any meetings that can be hosted in those alternative formats.

The Robin Park Arena reception remains staffed, but please be patient when trying to contact our main switchboard number in the event of an increased number of calls due to the limited options for personal contact.

The following Club facilities/departments continue to operate as normal from their regular bases:

Warriors World (Grand Arcade)
Wigan Warriors Store (online order processing)
Education (continues as planned at Robin Park Arena until Friday, before shut-down)
Amendments apply to the following facilities/departments until further notice:

Lotto (relocated to the Community Foundation office at Robin Park Arena from midday on Thursday for membership payments)

DW Stadium Ticket Office (now contactable by phone and email only)

As confirmed on Tuesday, Wigan Warriors Community Foundation has now suspended all of its charitable activities and project delivery, other than for ongoing pre-agreed programmes in local schools, which remain open until Friday.

We thank all of our supporters and partners for their continued understanding and adaptability during this unprecedented turn of events.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
