That was easily the worst RL autobiography ive ever read..... basically talks about all the good stuff and none of the bad........ boring imo

Ive read quite a few.....
Sean long,malcolm alker, barry mac and tez newton are my british favourites......funny how newton,morley and longeys stories( of long getting sent home from aus)differ slightly..... also the bust up between newton and mac differ......if you wanna read my favourite ever autobiography, its easily roy chubby brown by a mile........ sorry for going off subject

The Rads one is my favourite, John Monies was also very inciteful. His comparison of Andy Platt and Shaun Wane was "interesting" Graeme Wests was awful.

The Hunslet Club in the article is not Hunslet Hawks or even a RL club, but a local club.
Clearly there are two versions of Robinson's story. Finding another mention of either version doesn't prove it true.
Good luck, hope you come up with some hard evidence.
