Morgan Escare set for an early exit from Wigan Warriors
Morgan Escare looks to have played his last game for Wigan.

Good luck to him. Not the club's finest hour, the way he has been treated.

As SS commented not the clubs finest hour. I considered him to be a valuable asset to the Warriors, but other players came in that played in his position. Wish him all the best.

It’s a shame, I liked escare. His pace could split any defence but with signing french it was always gonna be tough for him.
Be a good signing for a team, wouldn’t be surprised if he came back to haunt us.

The way I see it.
1 - questionable signing at the time given the cover in that position we had and style of play under Wane.
2 - if wages around £100k are true, even more questionable given he was never going to be a starter.
3 - no smoke without fire that rumours have circulated around his attitude from two coaches in a row.
However, when he’s played he has looked good. No questions he’s a super league standard fullback!

I can agree with nearly all that, not sure who our cover was for Tomkins though, if it wasn't Escare, and given that fullback is such an integral position in modern day rugby you need a quality replacement.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 10:39 am The way I see it.

I thought morgan did well for us as fullback....... was outstanding v cronulla and added a lot when he came off the bench to inject the team with pace in the middle of the field
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE

Good luck to him, although others maybe better full backs he was always an exciting player to watch.
I thought he was a good signing and maybe under Watson he can improve as so many have at Salford under his coaching.
