Any truth in it?

I'd take him over Hastings any day of the week

I posted in the Ben Currie thread in the general section about Hull being favourites for him
I'm a better fan than you
Because I don't "Boo"!!!

Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are

I’d rather have Hastings over benji. Benji will be 35 if he comes over next season

He is a good un but he's gonna be gone as soon as a decent offer comes in from down under

Suppose its tricky one this!

Far too much speculation surrounding Jackson's future at Wigan for my liking! Regardless of whether Jackson stays or goes, I think Harry Smith looks very promising!
Marshall wouldn't be an obvious long-term investment but, maybe a possible 'punt' signing to help develop Smith if Hasting goers and Tommy retires!

Any truth in the rumours Joe Burgess is off to Salford?

What's current man of steel got to do with it?, He signed a contract with a get out clause for after the first season, Big money offer comes in and he is off, He owes Wigan nothing, It's not like we saved his career, He only signed with us because Salford couldn't afford to keep him, He is good but he ain't no Benji Marshall, Oh and before states that Benji is too old at 35 they better think on when they are wanting Lockers to go round again at 38 :D

I'd have thought that the club would only be interested in Benji Marshall if Hastings has already indicated he wants to take up one of the offers from the NRL. Marshall could come on a two year deal from 2021.
Harry Smith will be brought in this year and given more game time alongside Hastings, he would then have two years with Marshall as half back partner.
As good as Smith is I'm sure he could learn an awful lot by playing alongside both Hastings and Marshall.
If Hastings is going then I'd be very happy with Marshall.

If we were to lose Hastings (more than likely) then we could certainly do worse than Marshall. NRL winner, World cup winner, Golden boot winner, our young players could learn a lot from him. Also, looking at his displays for Wests so far this season, he can clearly still do a job for us.
