Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Disciplinary Round 9
Austin's trip was such an obvious one as well. It was clearly intentional and done in a way that the ref would thing was accidental, rather than an insinctive mistake. Same with his dive in the tackle on their line to stop the play.

Think Sam must have a couple of enemies on the panel.
Re: Disciplinary Round 9
Problem with Tomkins, being it was his first match back after suspension - for a trip !
Obviously previous taken into account.

Re: Disciplinary Round 9
Makinson ban 5 games plus £500 fine! Reduced from Grade F to E & because of his previous clean record, & his remorse!

Re: Disciplinary Round 9
Boll##ks excuse the pun how can it be downgraded from F to E even if he had a clean record i thought the grading was given according to the severity of the incident lad from Bradford got 8 matches for the same incident. Watching the repeat Makinson had more than 1 squeeze he cant even say it was an accident .

Re: Disciplinary Round 9
Just ridiculous it really is, so when it happens again its now just a 5 game foul?
Utter nonsense, if which im sad to say I would,Watts had rightly knocked him into next week he would have been looking at a huge ban..I really am tiring of the ludicrous way this sort of thing is worked out

Should have used sanitising gel?
Re: Disciplinary Round 9
Yes, but the judiciary said it was the full 8 game tariff, only reduced to 5 in this instance because of his previous good record being taken into account (never been sent off) and his guilty plea.fozzieskem wrote: ↑Thu Aug 20, 2020 9:03 am Just ridiculous it really is, so when it happens again its now just a 5 game foul?

Much the same as what happens in a criminal case in the law courts to a 1st time offender.
