It's tedious beyond words, and I don't know why everyone puts up with it. It's not funny, it's not big, and it's not clever.

The hull game showed how bad lam is as a manager
No experience and no plan
We are boring to watch with the same tactics week in week out
Hull kr have a top manager and would do wonders with our squad
Also, what a joke of a signing burgess and Mitchell are
I have donated two season tickets to the club this season and this is what I am paying for🤔😒

Personally, I look for the posters who know what they're talking about
how do you identify them, and how many fall into this select group?
I don't think it would be fair to name names or give an exact number, even if I could. And I wasn't implying that the rest of us are ignorant or our opinions are useless.

Since I mentioned SEFC, I'll use him (or her?) as an example: I've read his posts over the years and it's clear that he understands the game more than average....and that means more than me. For all I know he could be a coach, an ex-player or similar. So I often learn something when I read his posts. There are "a few" others in a similar category.

I'm not implying that the rest of us are ignoramuses, but I class myself, though a fan for 56 years, who played at a poor amateur standard for a short time, as more typical. I don't have any special insight or understanding so I value the opinions of those who do.

An example: I was an hgv driver for about 20 years. Many people who were car drivers, offered me their opinions about traffic. Some criticised lorry drivers, in one case haranguing me because we apparently deliberately drive alongside each other and block 2 lanes of the motorway. This bloke didn't want an explanation but thought he knew more than me about lorry driving, even though he'd never done it.

So everybody is entitled to their opinion, but it doesn't mean everybody's opinion is right, or even worth listening to :D

•Lam, Lockers and Flower to go immediately;
•Shorrocks, Clark, Byrne, G Burgess, Isa and Partington are not up to it;
•French to wing, Hardaker to full back, Hastings to 13;
•Bibby a centre not a winger, though when we signed him he was a winger not a centre;
•Stop split halves, replace Powell, Tommy to retire.

I only read the last two pages of posts, so please excuse me if I missed anybody.

I can picture Corporal Jones running around like a headless chicken saying "Don't panic!", and Private Frazer saying "We're doomed...doomed!"
And the Germans haven't invaded yet, we just lost one match with half of our first choice team sitting it out.

I'd love it if we'd had a fans' forum in the 70s. What would they have made of Hornby, Whittle, Martland, Blackwood, Breheny, and the rest?
- Lam to go immediately, Lockers and Flower to stay
- Shorrocks, Clarke, G Burgess*, Bibby aren’t up to it.
- French and Zak stay put. Hastings at #13 is just an embarrassing suggestion
- Bibby isn’t good enough, nor is Hankinson. New centre.
- Powell to stay at hooker

*purely because he looks shot. I actually feel sorry for him, he must be nearing retirement through injury.

If Lam was half a decent coach he’d have us playing consistently well week in week out. Instead we play consistently poor/average scraping wins by individual brilliance. Even when we win we’re left going “yeah well that was a well worked try so we’ve something to build on”. It’s not good enough. Lam isn’t good enough. He never has been, I said this last year on a Facebook forum page and got laughed off the page. He needs to go ASAP. I shudder at the thought of him being our coach in 2021.

You have a point about winning through individual tries. We rely on french and Hastings to provide that with others stepping up on occasion, and mainly marshall to make metres on out sets.

We have a serious problem making metres at the moment which needs to be addressed. If we can get good attacking positions the individuals can take it from there, but we're often dominated territorially which makes it hard to show the sparkle that lam promised.

We too slow around the ruck, we need to be quicker. Look how saints do it(I hate to say) and it gets you on the front foot

I find it a bit boring tbh. You can predict the quantity and content of posts just from the scoreline. I bearly read them these days.
But are they grizzly bears or just ordinary brown or black ones Mike??

So to sum up;
1. We have some players who are not superstars.
2. We have some players who are not playing very well.
3. We have some players who are in need of some coaching.
4. We have some grizzlies who have got confused and are posting on the wrong specialist website.
