Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Last Names Squad For Quarter-Final
Andy Last has named his 21-man squad for Saturday’s Challenge Cup quarter-final against Wigan Warriors at the AJ Bell Stadium, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.
Last has made five changes to the squad that was named ahead of last Sunday’s Sixth Round victory over Castleford Tigers at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Jamie Shaul is unavailable having failed a Head Injury Assessment during Sunday’s game, while Albert Kelly and Ratu Naulago both drop out having pulled up with hamstring injuries during the second-half.
Meanwhile, Adam Swift and Kieran both miss out with back injuries.
However, there is an early return to action for Marc Sneyd; the half-back suffered a lateral ligament injury in the victory over Huddersfield in August and was expected to miss up to two months of action, but makes an earlier than expected return.
Masi Matongo, Connor Wynne, Cameron Scott and Ben McNamara are all called up to the 21-man squad also.
Scott Taylor and Josh Jones remain unavilable.
The full 21-man squad can be found below:
2. Bureta Faraimo
3. Carlos Tuimavave
4. Josh Griffin
7. Marc Sneyd
9. Danny Houghton
10. Chris Satae

Anybody else expecting Hull to try and run over us similar to what Catalans tried?

Do you not read any news on the players? It's been well documented this week that he's been given time off to allow a full recovery from his injury

Can we suppose from that, that Byrne is the player who has had Covid? If so, I hope he is ok (and hasn’t passed it on). I am in 2/3 minds about whether it makes sense to play Lockers, and if so, in what position. Could he be a substitute prop, as he is a decent size???
If we play as well as we did against Cats we will be fine. We just need the pack to be competitive, and our backs will win it for us. Play like we did against HKR and we will be toast.

Why all of a sudden is he being given time off? Lam quotes 2-3 weeks.kevbrown1980 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 3:27 pmDo you not read any news on the players? It's been well documented this week that he's been given time off to allow a full recovery from his injury
What has been uncovered that wasn't already known.

It does seem odd to be honest....... big money signings are usually fully checked out before signing themnathan_rugby wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 5:03 pmWhy all of a sudden is he being given time off? He had a full 3-4 months break this season already. I'm not sure this signing is going to work out for anyone.
