Lam just said he isn’t frustrated that Saints are the only team he hasn’t beaten as a coach . He bloody well should be . Zero respect for the fans ,

Lip service to the fans, he and everyone else knew was tonight was going to be rough.

It will look extremely bad if we get knocked out of the CC.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

He played really well as did James McDonnell and I thought Kai Paul showed some potential

The league this season is a farce. The % win ratio was bound to take a hammering tonight because even without a cup game to come, Lam would have had to rest players due to the quick turnaround. A four day turnaround is a joke and there is nothing to say it could not happen again.

I agree, Lam as made a huge error tonight, putting out an academy side against a very good 1st team st's side. I would love to know why?????
I feel for the young Wigan lads to have suffered such a hammering. How can that be good for them...... It was like a "lam" to the slaughter! Boom!
Get a grip Lam and don't kill such a prestigious derby. Don't ruin what Wigan stand for. Yes Wigan are renowned for bringing through the youth players, but wtf was you thinking tonight? It's a real shame.

A 3 day turnaround followed by a 4 day turnaround ! Not much we can do about it owing to Covid, remembering the SL teams wanted and voted to continue and complete the season, indeed Wigan had penciled in today to potentially have fans in at the DW !
The young kids out there today will have gained some on field experience at the highest level and can only stand them in good stead as they progress their career. Very impressed with Kilner who gave everything, Paul as a young novice has a great future as does Hanley, once he irons out those errors which were continuously bombed at him. Nothing unusual for a youngster to come up with some mistakes.

I was thinking that - I thought 3rd man in couldn't hit below the knee anymore?

Just wondering what the Sky muppets would have said if it was Smithies making that tackle.

Surely resting most of the CC squad can only improve our chances of winning it?

Leeds giving debuts to EIGHT Academy players tomorrow v Catalans :-

Jack Broadbent, Levi Edwards, Corey Hall, Jarrod O’Connor, Liam Tindall and Sam Walters are all in line to make their first Leeds appearance, along with reserve team player Loui McConnell and on-loan Featherstone Rovers forward James Harrison.
