Correct we dont! A flashy offload and 10 minute spells of running the ball sadly doesn't cut it with me anymore. Not to say that he is poor, I've said it before, I truly believe age has caught up with him (match fitness wise) and it stands out like a sore thumb!

Over to you, Mr Lam. Can you 1) prepare them well enough, 2) choose the right team, 3) motivate them, and/or 4) turn round a big game if we are behind? We have seen no signs of these in his near 2 years so far. I am not holding my breath but would be delighted to be pleasantly surprised.

My line up would be...

French - Burgess - Gildart - Hardaker - Bibby (maybe swapping positions in defence) - Hastings - Smith
Bullock - Powell - Singleton - Farrell - Greenwood - Smithies
Partington - Byrne - Leuluai - Flower

I wouldn’t mind keeping singleton and bullock partnership going with Burgess and Byrne off the bench also probably have Hardaker on the wing instead of Bibby to leave the gildart and budge combo in place. Also would like Smith on the bench as he gives us that creativity we need which would leave the rest of the team that picks itself except loose forward and centre.
