Super League could have dispensed with Magic this season and given Waney a chance to work with his squad prior to the World Cup.

You’d think the RFL would look at how popular International Rugby Union is and do everything they can to even get a fraction of the same support and popularity for international rugby league.

That's what some of us fans think should happen, unfortunately in this case the RFL needs the support of the individual SL clubs, and that's where the fun starts :(

Plus everyone needs money, so if magic makes more money than an international training camp, then i'm afriad its going to be magic every day of the week until we're in a better financial situation.

I don’t understand the argument for scrapping the magic,it makes money and sky love it with its less costs involved.

It’s here to stay for better or worse

Yes, it's a premium Sky event they pay well for, they get a continuous 6 matches over 2 days at the 1 venue with much reduced overheads for the coverage they get.
It's a big reason both SL and Sky are committed to staging Magic.
