Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Connor & Fash Bans Upheld
Jake Connor and Brad Fash’s one match bans have been upheld, following an appeal made to the RFL’s Operational Rules Tribunal this evening.
The Operational Rules Tribunal upheld the one-match bans which had been imposed on the Hull players Jake Connor and Brad Fash at Monday’s meeting of the Match Review Panel.
In each case, the club had appealed the decision, but the ORT found the Match Review Panel grading to be correct – Connor of a Grade B high tackle, and Fash of Grade B dangerous contact, with both incidents in last Thursday’s Wigan versus Hull Super League fixture.
Neither appeal was ruled to be frivolous, so no further punishment was imposed.
The pair will miss Saturday’s Betfred Challenge Cup quarter-final against Wigan Warriors.

Re: DISCIPLINARY | MATCH REVIEW PANEL
Given Connor all but clotheslined Hardaker im not sure what he was appealing for?
Re: DISCIPLINARY | MATCH REVIEW PANEL
On commentary I recall some talk about Wigan 'winding up' Connor. is there much evidence to suggest that "we started it" (beyond Hardaker's pre-match comments)? I didn't think so. I thought Connor was cheap and malicious, and as Jon Wilkin rightly pointed out, Shaun Wane is watching, Connor is a talented player who aspires to be in the squad, you can't expect much of a rep career with that disciplinary record.

Re: DISCIPLINARY | MATCH REVIEW PANEL
Jon Wilkin on the SL show said he is one of the easiest players to wind up & that he took him to one side after a game & told him not to bite every time someone said something to him as he was talented player but too easily distracted with wind up remarks which spoiled his game.
