There is no way King will get marquee money at any club although there is nothing wrong with him starting his bidding from such a lofty position. Hurrell would be a real crowd pleaser but he wont come cheap. As for Mitch, I don't see him playing for Wigan again unless we have an injury crisis. The good news is we are looking to recruit.

IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE

There’ll still have plenty of money.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 3:54 pmAt least if King stays at Wire we will have pushed his salary up and reduced their availability under the cap.Dan2266 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 3:53 pmI don't think Hurrell will command more than the departing Gildart, so I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 3:22 pm

Now that would have been a press conference..he just won’t go..Dan2266 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 2:34 pmLam did say that yes, but he cant exactly come out and say "we are happy for him to leave, but he wont leave".Mike wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 2:20 pmThought it fell through because Lam vetoed it saying we were short of forwards?Firestarter wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 1:44 pm

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: King, Hurrell & Clark
I'd be disappointed with Hurrell.
For everything good he does his next play will be a disaster. He's slow, poor handling and the turning ability of a tanker.
Got to be better out there.

Re: King, Hurrell & Clark
If we do end up signing Hurrell, he would definitely be the odds on favourite to take the role of "Chosen player of blame" next season.
Assuming Gildart is going (and I think we can assume that given the deafening wall of silence coming out of the club regarding this, the only thing that would convince me more he was going would be a denial!!) then we do need to bring in a centre and I have to say I would be happy with King. Classy player who does the basics well, I think would be a very good fit and a decent replacement for Oli. Also it would REALLY annoy the Wire fans to see him in Cherry and White!!

Re: King, Hurrell & Clark
I tell you what Hurrell looks more like the yard making rotation prop we are missing than a centre.
