Small Updates.

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

If we bring in these mystical two props, where do our young guns go? On loan in Championship, let go? There won't be any game time for them here unless these two props are injured all the time.

Heard Thompson and his GF like it in Oz, his misses is at the heart of organising off field events over there for players and other halves.

I think he’d be a great fit for us though and just wander how long someone with his ability can stay at a losing club[emoji1745]

I think you can work with Harvard and Partington, they’ve got potential, with abit of rotation and there will be injurieas that’s the nature of the game.
I’d send Byrne on loan, I think he’s the weaker one of the three but still needs games time

Aren't we losing Bullock, Clarke, Clubb and so far only bringing in Mason?

Add George Burgess to that who hasn't been replaced.

With all due respect to the young props, where they’ll play isn’t a priority when it comes to the first team being successful . If they’re good enough they’ll get games here and if they’re not then they won’t. We’ve put ourselves in a position of having to play 5 young forwards on a regular basis and at 19, 20, 21 etc you have to be one hell of a player to hold down a regular spot at a really big club. We’ve got 5 doing it and all bring plenty to the table but we’re asking too much of them to be playing week in week out. They need help badly and they need games out of the fire now and again. Them having to really earn their place and also us having the ability to dip them in and out won’t hurt them, in fact it is the complete opposite IMO. It’s hurting them more what they’re being asked to do at the minute.

To keep on playing the young props is playing with fire, they need rest and time which is something they haven’t got at present carry on like this and they’ll be burnt out by 25 or so.

I don't mind 2 spots on the team always being young props, let's them fight for the 2 spots and then circulate the team stop fatigue and we would get so much more out of them.

Sadly we don't have that luxury at the moment.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

French may leave for family reason but he has to find a club. He'll only find a club by playing regularly and playing very well too . It could well be he could stay as he's an option I think for another year. If he stays then that's Zac to right centre with Thornley left centre.

If Waney is to return then I do think he could well pick up a couple of players from the World Cup. There are always players who stand out for the smaller pacific nations who are on the fringes of the NRL club's 17 but who can't make the breakthrough. One or two of those could be handy.

The club's recruitment seems to be proceeding but not with the players we all want, props! That could well come with time.

At first glance I thought your post said "musical two props" which I suppose is a fair reflection :)

That’s down to poor squad management.
