Squad v Huddersfield
Re: Squad v Huddersfield
Tommy misses KPP out soo much. We've got to get him into the game. Swap him with bibbey occasionally I reckon. He'd put his winger in loads with that backhand offload he's got.
Re: Squad v Huddersfield
I just questioned what the difference is, it was crap defence either way.Mike wrote: ↑Sun Jul 11, 2021 3:53 pmDo you want a team of players that stand there an blame the ref after the tries been scored, or players who get back into the line and complain afterwards?
Effort is there just don't seem to have a clue how to break down the defence
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.

What about loose forward? He's big enough, I'd love to see what he could at loose with Hastings and Smith in the halves

Could be good. Whatever we do, just get him on the ball in dangerous positions. He's the only threat player we've got right now.
Re: Squad v Huddersfield
Yet again absolutely clueless in attack.
Lam said they have been concentrating on defence, it looks like they have not been concentrating on very much, defence not that much better than attack.
Loose this and they loose again next week

Re: Squad v Huddersfield
Even commentators now are saying it’s a bad decision having Hastings at FB.
Everyone seems to know this bar Lam, who says he’s comfortable where we are at.
I honestly think we are doomed if he stays in charge.
Forget about the playoffs if Lam stays in charge

Re: Squad v Huddersfield
jeez that was an ugly watch, wasn't it? We look terrible in attack and as porous as ever in defence. Bibby seems to get worse by the week. Gildart is hopeless. Marshall, let's just say he doesn't look at full match sharpness now. Hastings is our only creative spark, but, is it just me, or does he always look like he's running in treacle? I can't see him succeeding in in the NRL cos he just doesn't have the pace. Which you really need, unless you are an exceptional talent like say Benji Marshall, and of course JH is not in his league.
I just can't see where a win comes from this season for this side. Sky talk about Huddersfield 'making the 6'. maybe they should say the same about us?

I just don't know how many games Lenagan is prepared to loose before he actually does something about it.
Getting rid of Lam would be a good start

If comments on here are representative of our "supporters", it answers the question of why we're losing fans or not attracting new ones.

I hope IL doesn’t say to Gilly he’s welcome back if it doesn’t work out.
He will be back but go else where, you’ve made your bed now lie in it
