Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Referee for Sunday
Because everyone makes mistakes at some time in their life. It's how they react and work afterwards that matters.
Referees like Hicks and Child (Ganson, if you go back a bit) never acknowledge that they make mistakes and never change their ways. Indeed, during a match, if they cock up, they seem to double down on poor decision-making.

Re: Referee for Sunday
Poor owd Bentham. Seem to remember a commentator said that he asked if the crowd had cheered him as he was being carried off, which the crowd duly did.
