Wayne Bennett . He is outdated and seems to have the lowest opinion of SL possible.
He's just made the GF again.. can't really call him outdated.
You don’t see many(if any) coaches of his age coaching at the highest level. So he must have something about him.
He wouldn’t be wrong about SL standard either

For me England did not improve under him, have access to a full team of NRL players helps but in SL he would have to work with players he considers sub par daily.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

What difference does that make? You can either coach or you can’t!
England got to the World Cup final with him at the helm but let’s forget that because he’s miserable Jesus wept the man is a machine who knows how to win things but he’s miserable

beat lebanon, france, PNG and Tonga hardly a great run, played Aus twice and lost and avoided NZ, he was also in charge of the 2019 GB tour

Who has a better record? At 70+ he is still taking a team to a GF which he has done on 10 occasions, absolutely outstanding coach.
Realistically Wayne Bennett wouldn't come over here on a full time basis.
I have however (through my previously banned accounts) promoted the idea of Stephen Kearney for a while. now
A real solid coach who would be able to entice players from overseas and probably have a far better understanding how they would fit into a possible line up. I think he would be very similar as Frank Endacott was in style and management. Hopefully players playing with a smile on their face
Hearing some real bad rumours surrounding Peet which might be the reason players are no longer interested at the club despite their public announcements
