Thompson may find it difficult getting a club at this stage of the close season. Most clubs have finished signing their playing rosta.
As for SL clubs. At $800k aussie dollars which is around £450,000 over 20% of any club's salary cap it will test the resolve of any outfit intending to sign Thompson.
I'd be very surprised if he came back to SL.
