The Warriors recently went on a Leadership and Teambuilding trip at Altcar Training Camp where the first team squad were pushed hard to complete week five of pre-season.
On Thursday, the squad arrived at the camp and were thrown straight into an assault course alongside some leadership tasks which encouraged discussion and teamwork, followed by rugby conditioning sessions on the field alongside the Army Rugby League team.
Thursday evening saw the squad join military staff for a silver service dinner, which included talks from two Ghurka soldiers as well as the chance to listen to an inspirational talk from an Army veteran who lost both legs during service.
Friday morning dawned as the players hit the sand dunes early for a tough and grueling session at Formby before heading back to Robin Park Arena.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
