Following the latest round of Betfred Super League fixtures, the Match Review Panel have issued the following sanctions:
Julien Bousquet (Catalans) – Grade B Dangerous Contact – 1 Match Penalty Notice
Jay Pitts (Wakefield) – Grade A Dangerous Contact – 1 Match Penalty Notice
James Bentley (Leeds) – Grade C High Tackle – 3 Match Penalty Notice
Chris Hankinson (Toulouse) – Grade A Dangerous Contact – 0 Match Penalty Notice
The following players were handed cautions:
Jay Pitts (Wakefield) – Other Contrary Behaviour
Siteleki Akauola (Salford) – Dangerous Contact
Josh Reynolds (Hull FC) – Other Contrary Behaviour
Luke Gale was sinbinned in Hull’s victory over Wigan Warriors on Saturday afternoon, but he has not been charged.
Instead, the Disciplinary Match Review Panel stated: “Player kicks ball away at a ruck. Professional foul.”
His teammate, on the other hand, Josh Reynolds was given a caution after ‘Throwing the Ball at an Opponent’.

FAir enough, Reynolds did that after the whistle to Smithies and caused a bit of push and shove.
