Other forum suggests Cooper to Wigan is a strong possibility, less likely on Parto though.
For me, it makes sense all round as we have several very good prospects in the Reserves who will challenging the first team very soon. Cooper can help them come through whilst Parto would be pushed further down the pecking order.

I've got to disagree. At 34 Cooper's best years are behind him.

There's absolutely no logic to signing a 34 year old prop unless its a freebie or he's on a low salary. If Cooper is the answer, what's the question?

Why would we sign Cooper to bring on our youth? Absolute madness!

Come on, not just for that, Cooper is a decent player in his own right- as to his age, same as this years Lance Todd Winner.

Sad if Parto goes but better prospects to come in.

The fact that we’ll take cooper for a maximum of 2 years and get rid of partington says more about partington than anything else. People need to stop kidding themselves, not all the players who come through the system will make it. He’s not good enough

Partington is one of our weakest players who regularly plays first team and I think it’s time he left and we tried to improve upon him.

However the fact we are replacing him with a very experience SL prop doesn’t say more about Partington, it’s just the club realising they need a bit more experience in that position and Partington is able to move on.

If we didn’t replace Partington or a youngster came in and took his place you can say that, but not with Cooper coming in.

Hopefully he can embrace the change. We don’t need the weak turn up get paid wire mentality in the dressing no room, can soon spread
