Field - Marshall - Bibby - Halsall - Marshall - Smith - Tommy
Singo - O’Neill - Byrne - Faz - Bateman - Ellis
Mago - Havard - Shorrocks - Isa
If the team is selected on performance then Partington should be in, he was excellent at Cas.
Tommy isn’t even named in the squad, why are you selecting him in the team??
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The original post only names 20, Tommy is the extra player. He's named in the text above the named squad as replacing Thornley

Maybe they didn't name Tommy to leave room for 2 Marshalls?

Personally, I don't see the point of playing Tommy, far better to give him a further two weeks to recover.

What are you basing that on?

Didn't Peet say he was weeks off being actually fit.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.
