Well let's hope common sense prevails and an accord can be reached one that doesn't impact perhaps wigans biggest gate of the season

Latics at home the weekend of the Superleague semi finals as well

correct they get a fee, but if the attendance is over a set amount the fee is more, but its not a percentage of the gate.
When did that change? From published accounts it was always 10% of gate.
Im almost certain from when Latics were taken over.

Suppose a key to this fixture is whether Sky are covering. Once the football season is under way, you don’t imagine Sky finding a slot on Sunday for rugby.

If Wigan v Saints was shown on the moon I think Sky would want to cover it 😂😂
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

If Sunday is an option, I wouldn’t mind that.

That's just Twitter tittle tattle, no confirmation yet.

That said, it most likely will be moved to allow time for the pitch to be repaired & re-marked.
