I think it would be unfair and unrealistic to rush him back. He will need 2 or 3 academy games IMO before he is fit enough. Likewise Hock.

Nobody's rushing Fletcher back - apart from Fkletch himself. The exact word at lst night's meeting was that he was expected to get 20 minutes with the Under-21s and he himself hoped it would go well & that he could persuade IM to put him in the squad for Friday.

It shows his keeness but I think the coaching staff will have too much common sense to put a bloke back in the first team squad after such a serious operation when he's only played 20 minutes (or even 50, as it turned out).


I wouldn't make too much out of it, except thatFlethcer is fit enough to get on the park again, which is excellent news.

It was on gmr news at 13:00 that he has a very good chance of being in the squad for friday against Dire,
Hope they are not rushing him too soon.
