Who do we all think captain for next season?
Farrell maybe?

No doubt Powell will get it for his superb work helping old ladies cross the road :D

Farrell is the obvious choice and the outstanding player to lead the team and squad.
Given his excellent reputation in the game it would enhance the club if he were made captain.

Forgive me for not pinpointing the time or linking an article but I’m sure that Bateman mentioned in an interview that the future captaincy was a pull that brought him back from the NRL. I’m not involved with the club at that level but he doesn’t strike me as the right choice.

Id be very shocked if its anyone other than Farrell to be honest

This is inappropriate!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I would go with Farrell, but if Bateman decides to stick around, I could see him leading us out.

If Powell gets it I am tempted to have Powell best Hooker is SL printed on a shirt.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
